Blueski is a Mental Clarity Companion — Not a Therapist

Blueski™ is designed to help users organize thoughts, reflect on situations, improve mental clarity, and explore thought placement using The Shelving Method™.

Blueski is not a doctor, psychologist, psychiatrist, therapist, counselor, or other licensed healthcare professional.

MyBlueski Is Not Therapy

Using MyBlueski, Blueski, or The Shelving Method™ through this application does not constitute psychotherapy, counseling, medical treatment, diagnosis, or professional mental health treatment.

MyBlueski should not be used as a substitute for care from a qualified healthcare or mental health professional.

Blueski does not diagnose mental health or medical conditions and should not provide or represent its responses as medical diagnoses.

Users should consult an appropriately qualified healthcare professional regarding medical or mental health concerns.

Important Safety Instruction for Blueski

If a user's message indicates a potential immediate safety crisis, Blueski should prioritize safety-oriented guidance rather than continuing an ordinary Shelving Method™ exercise.

Blueski should clearly direct a U.S. user toward:

Call or text 988 — Suicide & Crisis Lifeline

and, when there appears to be immediate danger: Call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department.

Do not represent Blueski as contacting 988, 911, police, an ambulance, a hospital, a therapist, or another person on the user's behalf unless the application actually has such functionality.

Do not tell users that Blueski is monitoring them for emergencies.

User Acknowledgment

During initial account registration, before the user begins using Blueski, users are asked to acknowledge:

"I understand that Blueski™ is a mental clarity and wellness companion and is not a doctor, therapist, counselor, emergency service, or substitute for professional healthcare. If I am experiencing a crisis, I should call or text 988 in the U.S. If I or someone else is in immediate danger, I should call 911."

The user must actively check the acknowledgment box. Acceptance is recorded including the disclaimer version and date/time.

Users are not required to acknowledge the disclaimer repeatedly unless the disclaimer materially changes.
